You may want to take a picture of your balcony from the outside of the ship so you can remember the placement of your cabin in picture memories. Since all of those balconies tend to look alike from deck to deck when viewing the ship from a tender boat or dock, bring along something to draw our attention to "your" balcony...something like a brightly colored piece of poster board to tape to the balcony plexiglass or on the rail. This same tip works for placement in a window or porthole. One passenger even brought a blow-up palm tree for their balcony.
