Cayman Islands Announce Cookout Fest 4 Years, 3 Months ago  
The first annual Cayman Cookout takes place Jan. 16 to 19, 2009, and will be sponsored by the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman and Food & Wine magazine. Hosted by Chef Eric Ripert, creator of Grand Cayman restaurant Blue by Eric Ripert, the weekend of events, tastings, demonstrations and wine seminars will take place on Seven Mile Beach. The Cayman Islands feature more than 150 restaurants, from traditional Caymanian seafood to Caribbean and Thai, Italian or New World. Visit www.caymanislands.ky/cookout or www.caymanislands.ky.

Cruise Tip

The arcade is pricey, but something most kids like. The first night you board all the games are half price so if you go then, you can save a few bucks. For those kids saving their own money to play, you can probably work in a lesson about "sales".
