 Mariner of the Seas April 2008 Western Caribbean Cruise
April 2008 Spring Break Cruise on Mariner of the Seas. We were a group of 12 from Snellville GA, Stratford CT & Rochester NY. This was a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise with stops in Labadee, Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Our excursions included the Dragon's Breath Flight Line in Labadee, Shaw Park Beach in Jamaica, Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman and Catamaran snorkel & beach break in Cozumel. Group includes Spring Breakers from Brookwood High School in Snellville, GA 30078. Gwinnett County. The Mariner is part of the Voyager class of ships which includes the Navigator of the Seas, Explorer of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas and Adventure of the Seas. All of these ships have the same floor plan. Best vacation ever! A cruise is the best choice for a family vacation. Stingray Adventure Half Moon Cay Bahamas
We went on a shore excursion to swim with the stingrays on the Half Moon Cay Island in the Bahamas. It was incredible. We got up close and personal with the gentle rays. They would feed right out of your hands. Their powerful suction pulled the squid right out of your grasp! They were rough textured on the top with a smooth rubberlike feel on the bottom of their bodies. They were shy at first but once the chum bag started getting jostled they smelled food and came flying in like puppies looking for a treat. They would literally move you by swimming into you so they could get a better angle on the food. This experience ranks up there in my personal top ten coolest things I have ever experienced.
