Carnival introduces a whole new spectrum of fun with the CARNIVAL GLORY. She is the most impressive and imaginative vessel in the "Fun Ship" fleet, in addition to being the largest floating resort ever to sail from Port Canaveral.
More nightclubs, duty-free shops, restaurants and onboard activities are just a few of the features that make the Carnival Glory a truly special ship. A whopping 60% of her extra-spacious staterooms feature ocean views and 60% of those boast private balconies. Relax in any of the four pools and seven whirlpools. Or, take a wet and wild ride on the 214-foot waterslide. No matter how you choose to spend your Caribbean cruise, you're guaranteed a great time.

Glory was Glorious!

My husband and I embarked on our fourth cruise on board Carnival Glory from Port Canaveral in January 2008. Since this was our fourth cruise with Carnival, we knew what to expect. And we had been on Carnival Destiny out of Galveston so we know the general layout and size of the ship. But, despite knowing exactly what to expect, the entire cruise with Glory was the best we've had. To be honest, it was exactly what a cruise vacation should be. The staff was amazing, the cruise director was funny and entertaining, and the ship was immaculate. The ship went to Grand Bahama island, Cozumel and Belize. Our favorite excursion out of all our cruises was the trip down the Belize River and visiting Mayan ruins. It was just an overall fun day. I was suffering from a sore throat due to a sinus infection the entire trip so to be honest the food was not appealing at all - but that was totally because I didn't feel like eating the entire time. I'm sure I was the only person to actually lose weight on the cruise. My husband, however, commented that it was the best food ever (and he's someone that can be trusted on that point). He gained 5 pounds eating so much! We would definitely go on Carnival Glory again. In fact, we will be planning a Southern Caribbean cruise some time in the next few years and hope that Carnival Glory or one of her fabulous sister ships will be it. |
